An idea that has formulated differently over time and transformed into many alternative things. A space for healing, exploration and an opportunity to centre back to yourself. Self love, acceptance, rest. An important notion to implement into our everyday lives, my studio exists as a safe space that gives permission to explore identity, practice different ways of love and acceptance, honoring the inner child and connecting to nature amongst a technology saturated world and too many distractions.  I like to explore the relationship between these two worlds. Nature and materialism, simplicity and consumerism. This dichotomy fascinates me when diving into the human psyche and what makes us connect, a lot of my paintings travel through this concept whilst picking up ways we can find peace with it all and learn about ourselves better in a world that seeks to distort any sense of comfort.
